Official work Hours: Monday – Friday (8AM – 6 PM); nature of this role will require to work outside of official working hours.
Reporting to: Client’s Security Team Lead
General Description: As a Security Technical Engineer you will support the security system of the sites. This include provide response in managing security incident & issues and maintain the smooth security system operations; You will be responsible to provide the security advice to stakeholders. This Security Technical Engineer will be stationed onsite and report directly to client. You will ensure customers have the best possible experience and have the highest quality of services.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
• Support 1 st and 2nd Level response and investigation to security alerts – e.g., door opened too long.
• Support first and second response to system alerts for the security systems – e.g., system downtime, access download issues.
• Support the ongoing maintenance and administration of the security system for both hardware and software – e.g., participate in UAT testing, production rollout of system patches, coordination with Security System Vendor, Technology teams on network, server patching, maintenance and systems health checks activities, etc.
• Assist in providing regular security issues reporting and tracking to resolution – e.g., staff access issue.
• Back-up to existing Security Admin Staff – to perform access card issuance (including card printing), temporary card issuance, troubleshooting staff access issues and managing the Key Press systems, etc.
• Ad-Hoc Standby - to assist on Level 1 and Level 2 responses.
• Support and assist routine maintenance service and power shutdown service.
• Other security system maintenance and support related scope assigned by client.
Requirements:
• At least a Diploma and/ or bachelor’s degree in relevant fields: Security, Electronic, Computer, or Automatization;
• Proven experience on security project implementation and security system maintenance
• Certification in AMAG and AVIGILON is highly preferred.
• Min. 4-5 years of experience in Security Technical support and site operations management
• Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as coordination.
• Strong client service oriented.
• Basic IT knowledge in hardware, network and database.
• Proficient in English (both Written and Read). Ability to communicate in other languages is an added advantage.
